The town of Rhymney lies in the County Borough of Caerphilly in South Wales, in the Upper Rhymney Valley.
Rhymney was built around industrialisation, established in 1801 with the ironworks which closed ninety years later. Rhymney is now a Conservation Area and there are a number of listed buildings. The Terrace is a grade II listed row of terraced homes that were built to provide housing for employees of the ironworks.
Rhymney offers schools, public houses and nearby amenities and the housing varies from modern homes to more traditional mining cottages.
