City of London

The Royal Exchange was founded in 1565, and although no longer used for its intended purpose, is at the centre of the financial district of the City. The Bank of England moved here in 1734, and is often referred to as "The Old Lady of Threadneedle Street". St Paul's Cathedral was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and is perhaps the most iconic building in the City.
