The market town of Fareham is situated north of Portsmouth Harbour at the mouth of the Wallington River. Fareham is steeped in history and the borough has nearly 600 listed buildings. Houses range in style and architecture with some dating back over 1500 years. A drastic rebuilding programme too place in the 18th century to improve the homes as the population increased.
