UK Average = £287k, up 7.0% over the year,  a 0.8% increase over the month
Excluding London and the South East:  Average = £217k, up 5.6% over the year.

Land Registry – November 2015
Average for England and Wales = £186,325, up 0.4% in the month, up 5.6% over the year.

Halifax – November 2015
UK Average = £204,552, down 0.2% in the month, up 1.4% in the quarter, up 9.0% in the year.

Nationwide – November 2015
UK average = £196,305, up 0.1% in the month, up 3.7% in the year.

Rightmove – 8th November to 5th December 2015
UK average = £289,452, down 1.1% in the period, up 7.4% in the year.

LSL / Acadata – November 2015
Average England and Wales = £290,640, up 0.6% from last month, up 6.0% in the year.
Excluding London and the South East: up 4.4% in the year.

RICS Survey Overview.
The RICS Residential Market Survey for November 2015 (published 10th December 2015) says that the “Lack of stock [is] continuing to drive price growth” and that “New instructions continue to fall”.
East Anglia saw the largest price increases over the month again, whilst London saw the smallest.
The North had the highest positive level of new buyer enquiries in the month whereas East Anglia saw the largest negative level.
The highest level of new vendor instructions was once again in the North whereas the lowest was in the North West.
The North had the highest level of newly agreed sales, whereas Wales saw the lowest.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) House Price Index (HPI), previously published by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), is a monthly release that publishes figures for mix-adjusted average house prices and house price indices for the UK, its component countries and regions. The index is calculated using mortgage financed transactions that are collected via the Regulated Mortgage Survey by the Council of Mortgage Lenders.
