{"id":314,"date":"2009-12-16T14:22:08","date_gmt":"2009-12-16T13:22:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.propertysurveying.co.uk\/newsletter\/?p=314"},"modified":"2009-12-16T14:22:08","modified_gmt":"2009-12-16T13:22:08","slug":"market-comment-december-2009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.propertysurveying.co.uk\/newsletter\/?p=314","title":{"rendered":"Market Comment December 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest press announcements by the Bank of England and the RICS suggest that House prices in England and Wales are generally continuing to rise in certain areas often fuelled by a lack of supply.\u00c2\u00a0 The local\u00c2\u00a0Independent Chartered Surveyors with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.propertysurveying.co.uk\">www.propertysurveying.co.uk<\/a> report a varied market with <a title=\"Chartered Surveyors in London\" href=\"http:\/\/www.surveyorslondon.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">London<\/a> bolstored by both big bonuses from the city as well as foreign net investment.\u00c2\u00a0 Our surveyors indicate a difference in demand in locations around the provinces whereas in <a title=\"London Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.surveyorslondon.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">London<\/a> , the network surveyors demand is still\u00c2\u00a0strong with some agents very busy.\u00c2\u00a0 A consistent demand has been reported by the westcountry contingent, and along the south coast.\u00c2\u00a0 Enquiries are coming in for along the south coast in <a title=\"Hampshire Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hampshiresurveyor.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Hampshire<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0and in <a title=\"Sussex Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sussexsurveyor.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Sussex<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the deep west, <a title=\"Cornwall Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cornwallsurveyors.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Cornwall<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0and <a title=\"Devon Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.devonsurveyors.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Devon<\/a> are\u00c2\u00a0benefitting from consistent demand with <a title=\"Dorset Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dorsetsurveyor.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dorset<\/a> and <a title=\"Somerset Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.somersetsurveyors.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Somerset<\/a> also reporting a healthy number of transactions taking place helped by the net migration to the area.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the <a title=\"Gloucestershire Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gloucestersurveyor.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Gloucestershire<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0and Welsh Border Country, enquiries are in less depth but a number of transactions are taking place with demand good in places like <a title=\"Ross on Wye Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rossonwyesurveyors.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ross on Wye<\/a>, <a title=\"Stratford upon Avon Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stratforduponavonsurveyors.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stratford upon Avon<\/a>, and parts of the <a title=\"Birmingham Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.birminghambuildingsurveyors.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Birmingham<\/a> and West Midlands connurbation such as <a title=\"Wolverhampton Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wolverhamptonsurveyors.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wolverhampton<\/a> and <a title=\"Telford Chartered Surveyors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.surveyortelford.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Telford<\/a> .\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Soundings\u00c2\u00a0from other surveyors of our network of Independent Chartered Surveyors will be placed here over the next few days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest press announcements by the Bank of England and the RICS suggest that House prices in England and Wales are generally continuing to rise in certain areas often fuelled by a lack of supply.\u00c2\u00a0 The local\u00c2\u00a0Independent Chartered Surveyors with www.propertysurveying.co.uk report a varied market with London bolstored by both big bonuses from the city &hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertysurveying.co.uk\/newsletter\/?p=314\" class=\"more-link\">Continue reading<span class=\"screen-reader-text\"> &#8220;Market Comment December 2009&#8221;<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[12,13],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-314","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news-section","category-property-market-section"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.6 -
