The breach follows a previous temporary stop notice which prevented occupancy of new homes for 28 days, and the latest move means the developers cannot sell or build any additional homes on the site.<\/p>\r\n<p>Barry Waterfront is due to have 2,000 new homes by the time building is completed.<\/p>\r\n<p>A number of properties at the site that were due to have pre-Christmas completions already had contracts exchanged on them.<\/p>\r\n<p>Despite the enforcement action, the council has assured those families already in the process of buying houses on the development that they could still move into their new homes.
