Romeo was feeding on scraps left by the builders at a height of 945 feet (288 metres) from the ground.<\/p>\n<p>Following a possible 2 weeks residency, a notice to quit was served and a subsequent eviction by Pest Control Officers was carried out. He was deported to the Riverside Animal Centre in Wallington.<br \/>\nHe was released at midnight in Bermondsey, close to his original patch and Ted Burden, the centre\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s founder reported that \u00e2\u20ac\u0153he glanced at the Shard, and then trotted off in the other direction\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<br \/>\nIt is reputed that many people have done the same<\/p>\n<p class=\"mceTemp mceIEcenter\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"The Shard under construction\" src=\"http:\/\/www.propertysurveying.co.uk\/article_images\/london_shard.jpg\" alt=\"The Shard under construction\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/>The Shard is due to be completed in Summer 2012, when it will be 1016 feet high, making it the UK\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, and the EU\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, tallest building.
