transactions.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The RICS Residential Market Survey for December 2016 reports <em>&#8220;<\/em><em>sales activity stuttering somewhat having appeared to be gaining momentum over recent months<\/em><em>,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d <\/em>and that \u00e2\u20ac\u0153<em>Prices continue to slip in central London although all other (London) areas see an increase\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Comparing the current month to the quarter, the majority of areas have stagnated in terms of house prices; the exceptions being Wales and the North, which have both experienced a rise in house prices. The only exceptions being East Anglia and the West Midlands, who both experienced a drop in house prices in month.<\/p>\n<p>In line with the month\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s house price increases, Wales and the North also experienced a rise in New Buyer Enquires.\u00c2\u00a0 London too saw a rise in the number of New Buyer Enquiries.\u00c2\u00a0 East Anglia, the South East and Scotland all saw the greatest decrease in number of New Buyer Enquiries.<\/p>\n<p>New Vendor Instructions rose in month in London, Wales and Northern Ireland.\u00c2\u00a0 However, East Anglia and the South East experienced a sharp drop in the %age of New Vendor Enquiries.\u00c2\u00a0 The South West continues to lead the numbers of New Vendor Instructions.<\/p>\n<p>Wales saw a significant increase in the number of Newly Agreed Sales, whilst East Anglia and the West Midlands saw the biggest drop.<br \/>\n<em>Source: Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Rightmove.co.uk is the UK\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s leading property website, displaying details of homes for sale or rent to the largest online audience. It has around 90% of all properties for sale and at any time displays a stock of over one million properties to buy or rent, worth around \u00c2\u00a3270 billion.
