RICS Survey Overview.<\/strong>
\nThe RICS Residential Market Survey for March 2016 (published 14th April 2016) says that “Agreed sales improved for the fourth month in succession\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and that \u00e2\u20ac\u0153National house prices have now risen continuously for an entire three year period\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.
\nThe North West saw the largest price increases over the month, whilst London saw the smallest.
\nEast Anglia had the highest positive level of new buyer enquiries in the month, whilst London, and the South East to a very small extent, saw the only negative levels.
\nThe highest level of new vendor instructions was the North West, whereas the lowest were in the South East.
\nThe North had the highest level of newly agreed sales, whereas London and Yorkshire & Humberside saw the lowest.

\nThe Office for National Statistics (ONS) House Price Index (HPI), previously published by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), is a monthly release that publishes figures for mix-adjusted average house prices and house price indices for the UK, its component countries and regions. The index is calculated using mortgage financed transactions that are collected via the Regulated Mortgage Survey by the Council of Mortgage Lenders.<\/span><\/p>\n
