RICS Survey Overview.<\/strong>
\nThe RICS Residential Market Survey for December 2015 (published 21st January 2016) says that “Buyer demand growth picked up\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and that \u00e2\u20ac\u0153New instructions increased very slightly\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.
\nEast Anglia yet again saw the largest price increases over the month, whilst the North saw the smallest.
\nThe North West had the highest positive level of new buyer enquiries in the month whereas once again East Anglia saw the largest (only) negative level.
\nThe highest level of new vendor instructions was yet again in the North whereas the lowest was in East Anglia.
\nThe South West had the highest level of newly agreed sales, whereas Yorkshire & Humberside saw the lowest.

\nThe Office for National Statistics (ONS) House Price Index (HPI), previously published by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), is a monthly release that publishes figures for mix-adjusted average house prices and house price indices for the UK, its component countries and regions. The index is calculated using mortgage financed transactions that are collected via the Regulated Mortgage Survey by the Council of Mortgage Lenders.<\/span><\/p>\n
