UK House Price Index – May 2016
This report combines the data from the Office for National Statistics and the Land Registry
UK Average = £211,230, up 8.1% over the year,  a 1.1% increase over the month

Halifax – June 2016
UK Average = £216,823, up 1.3% in the month, up 1.2% in the quarter, up 8.4% in the year.

Nationwide – July 2016
UK average = £205,715, up 0.5% in the month, up 5.2% in the year.

Rightmove – 12th June to 9th July 2016
UK average = £307,824, down 0.9% in the period, up 4.5% in the year.

LSL / Acadata – June 2016
Average England and Wales = £293,444, up 0.6% from last month, up 6.0% in the year.
Excluding London and the South East: up 5.1% in the year.

REGIONAL HOUSE PRICES

UK House Price Index – May 2016
England average = £226,807, up 1.0% in the month, up 8.9% over the year.
Wales average = £142,568, up 0.9% in the month, up 3.6% over the year.
Scotland average = £141,142, up 2.8% in the month, up 4.0% over the year.
Northern Ireland (Q!) average = £117,524, down 1.0% in the quarter, up 5.9% over the year.

RICS Survey Overview.
The RICS Residential Market Survey for June 2016 (published 14th July 2016) says that “Post-referendum uncertainty hits sentiment” and that “Buyer enquiries fall for third consecutive month”.
The North West saw the largest price increases over the month, followed by the Yorkshire and Humberside, whilst London once again saw a substantial decrease.
The North was the only region to see an increase in the level of new buyer enquiries this month, and the North West saw the largest decrease.
The only increase in new vendor instructions was in Northern Ireland, whereas the lowest was in the North West.
Only Wales, Northern Ireland and the North had positive levels of newly agreed sales, whereas the North West saw the lowest.
