Lundy is owned by the National Trust and ran and looked after by the Landmark Trust.
Some 3 miles long and half a mile wide, the Island is famous as once home to Pirates, Black Rats, the Lundy Cabbage and the Heaven Family.
Indeed, the Island was once known as the "Kingdom of Heaven".

Lundy is accessed usually via the Oldenburg Ferry which usually runs from the Port of Bideford. From a property perspective, there are several interesting notable features on the Island such as the use of an inverted roof on Milcombe House to catch and recycle rainwater due to a scarcity of natural water on the Island.
